Green Citizen micro-learning stimulates important conversations about sustainability. This month, we present the topic "Low Impact, Zero Waste Living".

Single-use plastics contribute significantly to environmental degradation due to their persistence in the environment, pollution of waterways, and role in greenhouse gas emissions. Help address these challenges by replacing disposable items with reusable alternatives and adopting practices such as repurposing materials. Individual actions, when combined across communities, play a vital role in creating lasting environmental change.

It includes a presentation on the topic by youth moderators Mahi Gangal and Ashika Vinjamaram, and a panel with experts Karen Chambers and Adriana Kao. A suggested donation of $5 would be greatly appreciated to fund tree planting.
