Green Ambassador Certificate
The “Take-Make-Waste” economy is at a tipping point. We need to counter irresponsible practices and a culture of convenience that is depleting resources faster than they are replenished and endangering species through human created emissions and pollution.
Are you passionate about environmental sustainability? Do you want to understand the drivers and impacts and make a meaningful impact in your community? Sustainability is not a destination, but reflection on mitigation actions and adaptation strategies. We need ambassadors that drive net zero thinking and stewardship to interact with the planet responsibly.
One Earth One Chance is partnering with UTD Dallas Jindal School of Management to deliver an environmental sustainability course consisting of modules covering 12 key topics, taught by industry experts.
Each module covers challenges, solutions, regulations, innovation, success stories, actions, blogs, resources, quizzes and interactive exercises.
Earn a certificate, show readiness for green jobs and commitment to sustainability on social media.
Compete for awards for events attended and certificates completed and receive service hours.
The program is open to ages 11+; children under the age of 11 must be accompanied by an adult.
While in-person is preferred, if you miss a class, you can watch the recording online.
