Location: Bonnie Wenk Park, McKinney, TX

Date: November 21, 2026

Time: 8:00 AM–10:00 AM

Join One Earth One Chance, UTD Sigma Alpha Epsilon, UTD Society of Sustainable Business, and City of McKinney community members for a morning of teamwork, community engagement, and environmental stewardship.

Together, we’ll remove litter, protect wildlife, and help keep Bonnie Wenk Park clean and healthy. Community cleanups are a great way to get outdoors, connect with others, and make a hands-on difference in the spaces we all share.

As you explore the park, remember that many animals, insects, and plants call our parks and creeks home. Please observe wildlife and nature without disturbing them and follow the Leave N/A Trace principle: leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but memories.

Here’s what you will do:

✅ Walk around the park with grabbers and gloves, picking up any litter you see.

🦺 What to wear: Thick-soled, closed-toe shoes (waterproof boots); Long pants, long-sleeved shirt and a hat. Use sun protection and bug repellant.

💦 What to bring: Water in a reusable bottle and sling.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
