OEOC's instructor Karen Chambers will be presenting on Environmental Volunteerism at the East MK Learning Garden.

Explore the environmental benefits of plant-based diets, from reducing greenhouse gas emissions to preserving natural resources. It highlights the benefits of choosing organic and plant-based foods, supporting local farmers through CSAs and farmers' markets, and being aware of potential health risks associated with pesticides, artificial additives, and unsustainable farming practices.
