Come support the planting of 102 trees hosted by the City of Richardson alongside North Texas FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee to celebrate Texas Arbor Day.
The trees are donated by One Earth One Chance and Suresh family in the memory of their son Rajiv Suresh.
Our meeting spot is the Pavilion in Breckinridge C complex, which directs you to the Gatlin/ Race Cemetery. While the official address for the park pavilion is 2000 Brand Rd, Google Maps does not always lead you directly to the right spot. Using the cemetery address is more accurate.
What to expect: Have a fun time doing the "dirty" work of digging holes, moving trees into holes, staking and mulching; Waiver form will need to be signed.
What to wear: Sturdy, closed-toe shoes; Weather appropriate clothing that allows for movement;
What to bring: Reusable bottle of water; Sun protection, Bug spray, Shovels and gloves; Light refreshments will be provided at the event.
