Planting in Monarch View Park

  • Monarch View Park 1900 Koehn Drive Frisco, TX, 75034 United States (map)

Help us create thriving prairie habitats that support wildlife in the urban environment using native plants (449 plants in a mix of quart, 4-inch, 1-gallon, and 5-gallon sizes). These plants require less water, need no artificial fertilizers, and are vital for providing food and shelter to wildlife. By restoring a habitat, you’re contributing to wildlife conservation and ensuring their survival. We will be guided by Texas Master Naturalists to weed out Johnson grass, install the native plants and work on bed preparation.

Gloves and shovels will be provided, but bring a reusable bottle of water and wear sunscreen and bug spray. Participants should wear appropriate clothes to work in – shoes will get dirty/ muddy.

Please register by clicking the button below.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times and waivers need to be signed.

Your participation in the event implies consent to be photographed and/or recorded for sharing in social media.
