Founder of One Earth One Chance and Sustainability Advisor at UT Dallas, Geeta Menon, will be a panelist at the DFW Youth Climate Conference to discuss Green Careers. The conference will provide high school and college students a unique opportunity to learn about climate change and its specific implications for the DFW region. The aim is to stimulate conversations about climate change, empower students to act, expose them to career opportunities and connect them to local leaders.
The first day will consist of four panels on Climate Drivers and Impacts, Climate Mitigation, Climate Adaptation and Climate Careers.
The second day will feature a competition, where 10 teams will compete to win seed funding for their climate action project. The deadline to submit applications is May 10.
