Green Practitioner Webinar: Closed Loop Waste Management

Date: September 12

Time: 2:00–3:00 PM

Green Practitioner webinars create opportunities for advanced-level conversations about sustainability. This month, we’re exploring “Closed Loop Waste Management” and how we can move beyond traditional linear consumption toward continuous, regenerative systems.

Closed-loop waste management transforms waste from an end product into a valuable resource. While recycling and composting help keep materials out of landfills, practices such as material recovery, upcycling, and circular supply chains take this approach further by keeping resources in use and reducing the need for virgin resource extraction.

The session will feature a presentation by youth moderators Aryan Sanoj Raj and Alessandra Hinojosa, followed by an interview with experts Andrea Sethi, Chantal Sethi, and Ajay Vonkarey.

A suggested donation of $5 would be greatly appreciated to support our tree planting projects.

Join us to explore how closing the loop on waste can help create more resource-efficient and sustainable systems.
